Simon’s Cat finds its home in China
- Block 12 will feature Simon’s Cat at Licensing Expo China

Endemol Shine Group today announced the appointment of agent Block 12 to oversee licensing opportunities in China.

The multi-year deal from Endemol Shine China, will see Block 12 explore licensing categories including toys, FMCG, apparel and publishing in the region. Block 12 will also manage the Simon’s Cat social media accounts and shopping mall events for the brand in China.

“Simon’s Cat is very attractive to young customers because it’s born online. This also makes the brand outstanding in our catalogue.” says William Tan, Managing Director of Endemol Shine China, “We believe that Block 12 is a reliable partner in ACG brand licensing. Endemol Shine Group Launches International Brand Licensing Push for Black Mirror

Endemol Shine Group today announced that it will drive international brand licensing opportunities for the Emmy-Award winning, mind-bending anthology series Black Mirror.

Black Mirror, the critically acclaimed Netflix original show, is produced by House of Tomorrow, part of Endemol Shine Group. The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones.

Working in partnership with Netflix and House of Tomorrow, Endemol Shine Group’s commercial teams will supercharge off-air opportunities for the brand across a broad range of categories.

Endemol Shine Group Launches Global Ancillary Rights for Peaky Blinders

Endemol Shine Group today announced that it is launching global brand licensing and ancillary rights to the award-winning, epic gangster drama, Peaky Blinders. The announcement marks a significant move into off-air opportunities for scripted brands within Endemol Shine Group.

The partnership with award-winning show creator Steven Knight and producers Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Productions, will see Endemol Shine Group’s Brand Licensing team represent a range of global ancillary rights for Peaky Blinders including gaming and publishing.

Peaky Blinders is produced in the UK for BBC Two and sold globally by Endemol Shine International across 182 countries, including airing on Netflix. The Endemol Shine Brand Licensing teams will extend the lifecycle of the brand off-air, using the Group’s multi-territory reach and expertise in global brand management to drive local and global deals for the critically acclaimed, worldwide hit.
