Globally successful animated comedy series Simon’s Cat is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade since award-winning illustrator, animator and director Simon Tofield uploaded the first Simon’s Cat animation, Cat Man Do, to YouTube. The brand is now a worldwide phenomenon with a global pawprint of over 17 million fans! The YouTube channel has nearly one billion views from audiences in over 100 countries, and the original video has now been watched over 60 million times.
The First Group has signed a landmark deal to bring the world’s first MasterChef the TV Experience restaurant to Dubai. Set to debut in The First Group’s forthcoming Wyndham West Bay Dubai Marina Hotel, which is scheduled to open in the second half of 2018, the restaurant concept will fully immerse guests in the MasterChef TV show experience. Featuring an interior design concept inspired by the MasterChef TV set itself, diners will be able to choose from a dynamic menu featuring popular original dishes conceived and inspired by series contestants and champions.
Personalised giftware ranges for the Mr Bean and Simon’s Cat brands have launched in partnership with customised giftware specialists Star Editions. Star Editions will create a bespoke online shopping destination for Mr Bean and Simon's Cat products. The brand new web shops will feature a range of customised giftware, in addition to hosting a number of Mr Bean and Simon's Cat branded products.
