Independent licensing agency Plus Licens have been appointed agent across the Nordics and CEE. Award-winning licensing company CLICK! will oversee the licensing programme in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.
The agents will manage a burgeoning list of deals including board games, apparel, personal care, pet accessories, plush toys and figurines as well as calendars and stationary. They will work closely with the Simon’s Cat team to build on the existing licensing programme in addition to opening up new opportunities in their respective regions.
Plus Licens and CLICK! join existing agents for Simon’s Cat including Lizenzwerft for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, License Connection in the Benelux, Enpop in South Korea and Block 12 in China.

Just Games, in collaboration with global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group, announced the launch of a board game based on the popular British drama series Peaky Blinders. The Peaky Blinders board game is scheduled for October 2019, and allows players to follow in the footsteps of the notorious Shelby family. The development and launch of the Peaky Blinders board game is the first board game collaboration between the two media companies.

Endemol Shine Group have agreed a deal with a Midlands-based operator Escape Live to bring the first experiences to Birmingham later this year – with plans to expand across the UK.

Peaky Blinders’ fans and VR gaming enthusiasts can, for the first time, infiltrate the underground criminal world of the urban street gang. They will undertake a covert and unorthodox mission and defeat a rival gang.
If successful with the mission, they will earn their cap and be a fully-fledged member of the Peaky Blinders, every fan’s dream!
Players will come face-to-face with new and well-known characters, explore iconic locations in Small Heath, such as the Shelby’s illegal betting shop, and be able to raise a virtual glass of Irish whiskey in The Garrison Pub. They will be immersed in Peaky Blinders’ world and the dramatic action that unfolds as the story progresses.
The game from new VR studio Maze Theory will be available across all VR platforms from Spring 2020 and be localised for key territories across the globe.
MasterChef Junior Live! will visit 10 cities in the U.S. and feature cooking competitions inspired by the hit television series, Q&A sessions, meet & greets with past contestants and fan favourites and more. Kicking off in Joliet, IL, on Thursday, Oct. 3, MasterChef Junior Live! will visit cities around the U.S., including Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Dallas, Austin and more.

Wednesday 17 April saw the launch of MasterChef, the TV Experience restaurant at the Millennium Marina Place in Dubai Marina. Based on the international hit television series restaurant will introduce a world-class dining experience to Dubai that will showcase the talents and recipes of MasterChef series contestants from many of the 60+ worldwide territories where the programme has been adapted. Internationally-acclaimed chef Margarita Vaamonde has been appointed to head the entire kitchen set-up and menu creation. In addition, contestants and champions from around the globe will share their stories and experiences with guests through signature dishes served during short-term residencies at the restaurant.
“MasterChef, the TV Experience” is a collaboration between Dubai-based F&B specialist The First Group and global content creator, producer and distributor, Endemol Shine Group. The teams worked with 30 winners across to create the initial menu for the restaurant.
